Police on the eastern Aegean island of Samos have arrested four suspects aged between 19 and 20 who allegedly used a 3D printer to make firearms.
The suspects are accused of numerous charges related to the manufacture, possession and distribution of firearms as well as involvement in drug trafficking, particularly unprocessed cannabis.
It is unclear how long the criminal group has been active.
During a search of the apartment of one of the suspects, the police confiscated, among other things, a 3D printer, various weapon components, five laptops with several storage devices, six cell phones and precision scales.
