Pact signed for 3D printer initiative for students in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Education, represented by the General Directorate of Curriculum Development, and Al Suwadi Energy Company signed an agreement on Tuesday to support the 3D printer initiative for the tenth grade in information technology.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Yahya Al Harithi, Director General of the General Directorate of Curriculum Development, and Abdullah Al Rawahi, CEO of the company, in the presence of Dr. Afaf Al Lawati, director of applied science curriculum development, signed department and Hamdoun Al Rashidi, director of social affairs of the company.

The signing of the agreement took place in the general divan of the ministry.

The aim of the agreement is to familiarize students with 3D printer technology and its importance to the local and global economy, as it is one of the most important technologies of the future.

The agreement also aims to instill values ​​and principles, develop the skills necessary for entrepreneurship and integrate the subject into student projects.

It will help them deal with 3D printers, learn the technical and commercial aspects of this technology and change their perspective on future careers.
