Can you imagine creating any 3D object imaginable with a pen? Well, based in Boston WobbleWorks LLC has created just that – a 3D printing pen. Considered the cheapest type of 3D printing, the 3Doodler ejects heated plastic that cools quickly to create various shapes and objects.
When I first saw this pen in action, I immediately wanted to try it out, and the more I learned about it, the more I wanted to own one. I was obviously not alone as over two million dollars was raised Kickstarter. The Kickstarter project launched at the end of February and has far exceeded the original goal of $30,000 in funding.
