Camille Lockwood, a Maine Business School student from Boston, works as a global marketing intern at Formlabs, a company that makes 3D printers, models, and prototypes for various industries.
Throughout the summer, Lockwood collected user data, created digital designs and promotional marketing, and planned corporate events. The internship not only provided her with knowledge that will be useful for her future professional endeavors, but also helped shape her views on what constitutes an ideal work environment.
“When I started my internship in mid-May, the Formlabs team was incredibly welcoming,” she says. “The environment in which I work is flexible and diverse and always responds to the needs of its employees. That’s something I appreciate in the world of work.”
