1. Can it be used with a Bowden tube setup?
Yes, SainSmart TPU is flexible but designed to print smoothly on both Bowden and direct drive extruders. Its clog-free formulation helps reduce feeding issues common with flexible filaments in Bowden setups.
2. Does it require a heated print bed?
While a heated bed is not strictly required, we recommend using one set around 30–55°C to improve adhesion and reduce warping during printing.
3. Is it prone to warping or curling?
TPU generally has low warping compared to rigid filaments. With proper bed adhesion and printing at the recommended temperature (220–240°C), warping and curling are minimal.
