Our production line uses a laser micrometer to ensure a consistent diameter within +/- 0.05mm and we frequently test spools on our own 3D printers! Polylactic Acid, PLA, is the most commonly used 3D printer material, because it is easy to use, affordable, and has good mechanical properties. Our filament is produced using corn-based resin from American farms. We recommend a nozzle temperature of 195-215 °C, a bed temperature of 50-70 °C, and a PEI or Buildtak bed for best printing results.
