E PVA: Enhanced PVA
E PVA is an enhanced cold water soluble support 3D printer filament. E PVA has much more thermally stability than standard PVA’s and it also bonds well to PLA, ABS, and PETG. E PVA is a sustainable material and E PVA is non toxic once dissolved in water, E PVA is an excellent support for prints with large overhangs or complex internal geometries. The speed that E PVA dissolves in water depends on the overall geometry of the printed object, the volume, and temperature of the water. Warmer water accelerates dissolution but do not exceed 95℉ (35˚C) for PLA as parts may be damaged. For higher temperature materials like ABS or PETG, printed parts are safe in water up to 158℉ (70˚C). Submerging parts in warm water for 10 – 15 minutes should allow for quick removal of much of the support material, either with tools or by hand , easily before re-submerging in water for the remainder of the process. This should speed up the dissolution process and a final rinse in the sink will help remove any excess support. Do not exceed printing temperature of 225˚C for a prolonged period, recommended bed temperature is >60˚C. Other: Do not exceed a printing temperature of 225˚C, E PVA or will crystallize to quickly and will no longer flow and/or dissolve in water. Store in a resealable bag with desiccant between 0°C and 30 C, and we recommend the relative humidity stay below 50%. Avoid direct sunlight.
