Incus GmbH’s Hammer Pro40 3D printer, built on the principles of the Hammer Lab35 printing system, offers a platform six times larger to enable mass production. The larger construction volume is achieved by two movable or scrolling projectors instead of one stationary projector.
With a potential throughput of 700 cc/hour and a pixel pitch of 40 µm in X/Y, the 3D printer is designed to produce large batches of complex specialty parts. The surface roughness after sintering is 2 µm, so no additional surface treatments such as polishing or sandblasting are required. The strength of the green part is high to enable automated handling.
