It may look like a standard SV07, but this new model is much larger

Sovol’s popular SV07 clipper-based 3D printer is now available in a larger Plus model

Sovol today introduced an enlarged version of its popular SV07 3D printer that offers users a larger build volume while retaining all of the modern features that made the standard SV07 3D printer so popular.

What makes the Sovol SV07 so special? It is about the printer’s full clipper support and taking advantage of the latest innovations in 3D printing while maintaining budget-friendly pricing for users. The SVO7 come with features like automatic bed leveling, a direct extruder with dual planetary gears, a magnetic PEI textured build plate, and support for features like Input Shaping and Pressure Advance to enable ultra-fast print speeds. With hot-end temperatures of up to 300 degrees Celsius, this printer can also process all common filament types.

So what about the SV07 Plus?

With Sovol’s new SV07 Plus model, the company is expanding the printer’s print volume from 220mm x 220mm x 250mm to 300mm x 300mm x 350mm, giving the printer a 2.6 times larger print volume. This increase in volume allows the SV07 to print much larger objects or print smaller objects in larger quantities to increase printing efficiency.

The SV07 is a full-featured clipper 3D printer controlled via a 5-inch touchscreen. The printer’s bed leveling is done using a sensor that checks 25 areas of the SV07 Plus’s bed before printing to ensure users have a smooth experience on the first shift.

Sovol SV07 Plus users can control their 3D printer via WiFi or manually transfer files to the printer via USB. No internet connection is required to operate this 3D printer.

Like all modern 3D printers, the Sovol SV07 Plus features TMC2209 “Silent” drivers for low noise levels. In addition, the printer features a three-fan cooling solution to ensure that the printer does not overheat and the filament is adequately cooled after it is deposited on a print. A filament run out sensor ensures that printing will pause when users need to start a new spool of filament and a tool drawer has been integrated into the printer to ensure all necessary tools and parts can be easily stored.

If you are new to 3D printing, you know that bed leveling was once one of the biggest problems for 3D printing enthusiasts. If your first layer of filament doesn’t stick to your print bed, you won’t be able to print anything, and before the invention of auto-leveling systems, getting your printer perfectly aligned could take a lot of time and effort. Today, most 3D printers come with an automatic leveling system, a system that makes bed leveling difficulties a thing of the past. Now 3D printer users can easily print parts with much less tinkering.

Sovol’s SV07 3D printer has been a hit with reviewers, and there’s little reason to think the SV07 Plus will be any different. After all, the SV07 Plus is just a bigger SV07, so the reviews of the standard SV07 should tell you everything you need to know about its bigger brother.
